1. Introduction
Welcome to Whetstone Podiatry (referred to as "the Podiatrist," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of podiatry services by Whetstone Podiatrist, a sole trader operating in the United Kingdom. By booking an appointment or receiving our services, you (referred to as "the Patient," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking Appointments
2.1 Appointments can be made by telephone, email, or through our online booking system (if applicable).
2.2 We will endeavour to offer appointment times that are convenient for you. However, all appointments are subject to availability.
2.3 We may require a deposit to secure certain appointments. You will be informed of this at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend your appointment.
2.4 We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment or a refund of any deposit paid.

3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Our current fees for services are displayed on our website www.whetstonepodiatry.com and/or are available upon request.
3.2 Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We accept cash, debit/credit cards, bank transfer.
3.4 We reserve the right to alter our fees at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes.
3.5 If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to charge interest on the outstanding balance in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellation and Non-Attendance
4.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice.
4.2 Failure to provide the required notice or non-attendance at your appointment may result in a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the appointment or the loss of any deposit paid.

5. Consultations and Treatment
5.1 During your consultation, you will be asked about your medical history and current health. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information.
5.2 All treatments are provided with reasonable skill and care. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as results can vary depending on individual circumstances.
5.3 You have the right to ask questions about your diagnosis and proposed treatment plan. We will explain things clearly and answer your queries to the best of our ability.
5.4 If you have any concerns about your treatment, please inform the Podiatrist immediately.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
6.1 We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and medical information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6.2 Your personal data will be used for the purpose of providing you with podiatry services, managing appointments, and processing payments.
6.3 We may need to share your information with other healthcare professionals (e.g., your GP) with your explicit consent or if required by law.

7. Liability
7.1 We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the provision of our services, except in cases of negligence or wilful misconduct.
7.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services shall be limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific services in question.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 We maintain a clean and safe environment for your treatment.
8.2 Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities you may have prior to your treatment.
8.3 If you feel unwell or experience any discomfort during your treatment, please inform the Podiatrist immediately.

9. Complaints
9.1 We are committed to providing a high standard of service. If you have any concerns or complaints about our services, please inform Whetstone Podiatry in writing or by email at whetstonepodiatry@outlook.com as soon as possible.
9.2 We will endeavour to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Amendments
11.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website www.whetstonepodiatry.com. Your continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
